Based out of Southern California, Booby Mags was created by necessity.  One day fishing with his Grandpa, the Co founder dropped his Granpas lucky pliers into a lake off the dock.  Determined to get them back the two tied an old magnet to the end of some dock rope.  A few minutes later the lucky pliers were retrieved and the rest of the day was spent catching much smaller fish than actually were actually spoke about later.  

This idea of a magnet on a rope is nothing new but how the Booby Mag was made makes the diference……
